Class Policies

· Tests are given every 2-2.5 weeks

· Students are notified of the test date four days to one week in advance.

· Help sessions are every Monday after school until 3:30.

· Homework and quiz information will be listed on the board for the entire week. It is the student’s responsibility to write down their assignments.

· Students have been notified that if they are absent for one or two days to contact another student for the homework and notes. I will provide the information for three or more days.

· Any grade below a 70 will be sent home so that the parent or guardian may view the work. The parent will be asked to sign the work.

 

Grading policy: Tests during a quarter without a project will count 66%. Homework quizzes will be 17% and map quizzes 17%.

When there is a project, the grades are as follows: Tests will be 60%, the map and homework quizzes will be 20% and the project will be 20%.
